Firearm Training

instructor_logo.6664157_stdI have been recreational shooting over 35 years. Started shooting competitively in 1992 with Long Range Rifle Matches (out to 1000 yards), High Power Rifle Matches (200, 300 and 600 yards), Small Bore Rifle Matches (50 feet to 200 yard) and then into the Pistol Match. The matches range from our local match here in Grants Pass, OR, Oregon State Championships to National High Power Rifle Championships at Camp Perry in Ohio.

I have numerous NRA Instructor and Coaching Credentials along with Glock Armorer and Instructor Credentials. I also am a part time Instructor at Front Sight in Pahrump, Nevada. I have received some great instruction from some of the best in the personal protection industry including but not limited to Dennis Tueller who one of my favorite. Dennis was Glock’s Instructor of the Glock Instructors class, which by the way very informative and a lot of fun. After the final test, and a passing score, Dennis’s present to the passing class was the best, he allowed the new Instructors to shoot his Glock 18, which is a full auto 9mm Glock pistol, wow fun. Not only was it fun but kind of expensive too with a cycle rate of approximately 1100 to 1200 rounds  a minute that made a 32 round magazine last approximately 1.6 seconds. It took almost 1½ minutes to fill the magazine for the 1.6 seconds of fun, but it was fun.
